Lost din ako nung nagsisimula pa lang. Wala akong experience, wala ring skills. Sa una, kabado ako at hindi sigurado kung magwo-work ba yung gagawin ko.
Pero lagi kong tinatanong sa sarili ko: "Bakit ko nga ba ito gagawin? Bakit ko ba kailangan kumita ng pera?"
The answer was simple: to give back to my parents, to take care of myself, and to secure my future. I also felt I owed it to my younger self, and I wanted to make him proud. That's why I got started.
This was me before—payat, brokie, at walang masyadong direction sa buhay. Wala talaga akong pera noon, wala rin akong plano. Pero kahit ganito ako noon, I knew deep down na I was meant for something greater. I just didn't know how yet, pero I was willing to figure it out, kahit mabagal, kahit mahirap.
So fast forward, nag-grind ako. Inaral ko lahat—iba't ibang side hustle, business model, at mga high-income skill. Sales, marketing, creatives—sinubukan ko lahat. Hanggang sa may isang skill at business model na nag-work talaga sa'kin. Doon na nagsimula pumasok yung international clients, and sobrang taas nila magbayad, in dollars pa.
After a year, I finally hit my first ₱1.4 million, around $26,000 at the time. Winithdraw ko pa nga yung first ₱1M just to feel it bago ko i-reinvest sa next business ko.
And just to be real—this wasn't an overnight success. It took me several months, and for most people, it might take years—depende sa sipag at tiyaga mo. Keep in mind na you really have to learn a high-income skill and study sales if you want to earn like this.
So, ano'ng ginawa ko after earning that? Puro luho ba agad? No. I reinvested. Kahit kumita na ako ng ganun kalaki for my age, hindi pa rin ako nag-stop. I kept grinding and built systems para kahit hindi na ako hands-on, tuloy pa rin ang takbo ng business. You see, pag na-reach mo na 'yung gantong milestone, ang next challenge is how to maintain it. Hindi 'to about paramihan ng pera para magyabang—it's about learning how to handle it well and reinvest para ma-achieve mo 'yung financial, time, and location freedom.
